We brew on a 30 HL manual brewhouse with three vessels, with a production team consisting of one head brewer, two brewers, and one brewery assistant. This team will expand this year with the addition of a second brewery assistant.

The Role

As Head Brewer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining beer quality, and driving continuous process improvements. You will lead our brewing team, plan production, manage raw materials, and work closely with the commercial team to align production with demand.

Monthly

  • Analyze beer quality trends and implement improvements.
  • Lead optimization projects (cost reduction, new packaging processes, etc.).
  • Submit monthly reports to customs authorities.

Annually

  • Plan and manage large-scale projects (e.g., new bottling line, brewery expansion).
  • Evaluate team performance and implement training programs.
  • Negotiate hop and malt contracts to ensure the best quality/price ratio.
  • Anticipate and negotiate annual packaging needs.
  • Submit the annual customs declaration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of professional brewing experience, ideally in a leadership role.
  • IBD diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of brewing, packaging, and quality control.
  • Ability to proactively solve technical and organizational challenges.
  • Experience managing raw materials and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and team management skills.
  • Passion for craft beer and a drive for innovation.
  • Basic proficiency in both French and English required (our team is bilingual, and suppliers are international).

What We Offer

  • A full-time permanent contract in a fast-growing independent brewery.
  • A competitive salary based on experience.
  • The opportunity to lead a talented team and make a real impact.
  • A dynamic work environment in one of the most beautiful regions of France.
